Paramount Chief Chitimukulu Henry Kanyanta Sosala
The Bemba Royal Establishment (BRE) has extolled Republican President Edgar Lungu for honoring his campaign promise to recognize Henry Kanyanta Sosala as Paramount Chief Chitimukulu of the Bemba speaking people.
BRE Spokesperson Washanga Impika Shalubemba has told QFM News in a telephone interview that the move has been long overdue and that it is a positive response from President Lungu.
Washanga says the Bemba speaking people in Kasama are grateful to President Lungu for fulfilling the promise he made when he visited them during campaigns.
He says President Lungu should be commended for having an ear to the cries of the people of Bembaland.
He says the Bemba Royal Establishment has received the recognition of Mr Sosala with two hands and that the move has brought so much joy to the establishment.
