The Independent Churches of Zambia (ICOZ) has congratulated Patriotic Front President Edgar Lungu for winning the January 20th 2015 presidential elections.
ICOZ President David Masupa says there can only be one winner in any election and therefore political party leaders and the people of Zambia as a whole should accept President Lungu as the 6th republican president and work with him.
Bishop Masupa notes that they are hopeful that President Lungu will not disappoint the people of Zambia but that he will deliver according to the expectations of the people of Zambia.
He has urged President Lungu not to forget the promises he made to the people of Zambia during the campaigns but ensure that he fulfills all the promises he made.
