The Evangelical Youth Alliance International (EYAI) says Edgar Lungu is the Jubilee president that God has given the Zambian people.
Alliance Executive Director Moses Lungu has urged the people of Zambia to embrace the new leader as he is a leader from the Lord citing that the people of Zambia prayed and God has answered their prayers.
Reverend Lungu says the people of Zambia should continue to pray for the new President that God may give him wisdom to lead the nation accordingly.
He has reminded Zambians that President Lungu may have not been a preferred candidate for some people but that the will of God is not the will of man adding that the best is just to accept because God’s will is not to harm the people but to prosper his people.
Reverend Lungu has commended political parties for peacefully accepting their lose stressing that if it is the will of God that they one day lead the nation, their time will definitely come.
He has further congratulated President Lungu for becoming the sixth republican president of Zambia stating that it is his hope that President Lungu will move the country forward.
