Aim for the stars – Mumba calls on Zambians

Opposition MMD president Nevers Mumba has called on Zambians to aim for the stars in the January 20th presidential election.

In his year New Year message to the nation, Dr. Mumba who is one of the 2015 presidential candidates has asked Zambians not to succumb to the pressure of the usual politics of the wind.

Dr. Mumba states that the experience of the 2011 election which saw most Zambians voting for the PF ‘wind’ of change but only to regret a few months later, should help people reason beyond a false movement devoid of morality.

He says what he is offering as a presidential candidate for the New Hope MMD is leadership of trust and experience.
The MMD president states that the risk of undertaking another political experiment is too great to contemplate.

He has observed that nation experimented with ruling and should not get carried away by continuous experiments.
The opposition leader notes that the New Hope MMD provides a trusted and tested leadership of morality with a proven economic program.

He suggested that in order to survive and succeed as a nation, people must therefore place the character of an aspiring candidate above his money, his promises and his ability to organize a successful campaign machine.

Dr. Mumba says he is also of the view that 2015 is a year of unique possibilities and thus people should brace themselves to expect the unexpected.
