Government has reassured foreign investors that Zambia is still a safe and predicable investment destination.
Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister Robert Sichinga says events that have followed the passing of President Michael Sata should not create a cloud of uncertainty.
Mr. Sichinga says investors should not be scared of investing in the country because government will manage the transition period peacefully and will uphold the peace that Zambia is renowned for.
He adds that local investors should equally continue investing in the country and do so without fearing anything, stating that the atmosphere will always be favorable for both local and international investors to invest in Zambia.
Mr. Sichinga further states that government will always open doors to those willing to invest in the country as this has a huge potential to create jobs for the people of Zambia and in turn grow the economy of the country.
