LWSC explains continued erratic water supply

The thirty three boreholes which were temporally shut down last month by the Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company after running dry have not yet recharged.

This has led to the continued erratic water supply in Lusaka.

Company marketing and Public Relations Manager Topsy Sikalinda has told QFM News in an interview that people should exercise patience because the water the water levels will soon increase.

Mr. Sikalinda has also disclosed that Chongwe River which also runs dry during the dry season has not yet recharged.

He is hopeful that within this month the water levels will increase putting the problem of erratic water supply to an end.
