Chipimo condemns police brutality

National Restoration party (NAREP) president Elias Chipimo has condemned Police brutality on University of Zambia students (UNZA) which has left a 19 year old economics student in a critical condition in hospital.
Speaking to QFM News after visiting the Lizwe Ndhlovu who admitted to the University Teaching hospital nursing injuries sustained as a result of Police brutality, Mr Chipimo says police should have limits in handling students during protests.
Mr. Chipimo says the action by the Police on the students should be condemned by all relevant authorities.
He notes the need to ensure there is a new directive on how police should handle rioting students other than using force.
And the mother of the UNZA student who has been left with excessive blood clot on his head and fractured knees, Rosaria Ndlovu says the family is disheartened with the way the police acted on her son.
