Zambia will have new President in 80 days – Scott

Acting President Guy Scott has pledged to ensure that the country has a new President and government in 80 days time.

In his tribute to President Michael Sata after the requiem mass at Heroes Stadium this afternoon, Dr Scott has also pledged to ensure there is continued peace and prosperity in the country during the transition period.

Dr Scott says Zambia will elect the President of their choice.

He says having traversed Zambia with President Sata during campaigns; he knows that the late President wants Zambians to unite.

The acting President has described President Sata as a very kind and generous person.
