Sata was an exceptional, confident politician – Ng’oma

Political Analyst Alex Ng’oma has described the late President Michael Sata as an exceptional and confident politician who stood his ground.

He says the late President proved to the nation that he was focused on delivering development during the short period of time he has served.

Dr Ng’oma says it is sad that the dark cloud is once again hovering over the nation barely six years after the country lost another sitting President Levy Patrick Mwanawasa.

Dr Ng’oma has encouraged the leaders in government to continue pushing forward the development agenda President Sata had been pursuing since taking over as President in 2011.

He adds that President Michael Sata has fought a good fight and it is now up to those left behind to emulate his courage and knowledgeable gift on different issues.

Dr Ng’oma has since commended opposition leaders and the members of the Patriotic Front for showing unity regardless of their political differences.
